The Russell clan ventured to Oma's pumpkin Patch yesterday. It was delightful. The weather, the activities, and the overabundance of pumpkins officially made it feel like Fall. Oktoberfest just didn't cut it for getting me into the Fall spirit, but Oma's sure did. Well, that and the "spice" candle I've been burning for about the last week!
The hay ride and the cotton seed "sledding" were a huge hit with the kiddies. Although, to be honest, there may have been a time or two when the Russell adults outnumbered the Russell kids on the cotton seed mound. We may have gotten a few dirty looks from some other parents, but hey...this crew likes to have fun no matter HOW old we are!
